I’m Mira Chen, an artist based in Taipei, Taiwan. People are always my main inspiration, no matter they are in real life or in the movies. The dynamics and emotions in human figures fascinate me. I have the enthusiasm to capture the feelings and stories of people with my paint brushes.

The media I use are mostly watercolor and soft pastel. My early trainings in fashion illustration and Chinese calligraphy influence the expressive style of my paintings.

To me, creating art is a blessing in life and always a joyful part of my life.
